Dear John, Thank you so much for a memorable day on the river. The Damsel Flies that fished with you on July 10, 2010 will remember the day fondly. One Damsel who had never caught a fish on a fly is now hooked forever. The fish fry on the shoreline was another highlight. Each guide made a special effort to make sure we had a great time…and we did. This is our second year on the McKenzie with you and we hope to make it an annual outing. Thanks for a wonderful day! We Had A Great Time
Hi John, Thank you so much for the pictures!! So sorry that I took so long getting back to you. We had a great time and we have gotten a lot of mileage out of our fish vs. seal vs, Rob story. John Is An Excellent Guide
Actually we are fishing from John’s drift boat on the rivers in Coastal Oregon as well as Willamette valley near Eugene. John is an excellent guide and a great fisherman who is knowledgeable with the local ecology of the various bio-regions he guides in. He has trips available most of the year on the various rivers in western Oregon and its definitely a great thing to do if you make it to Oregon. Dads Special Trip
Hello John, Thanks for your expert hospitality yesterday during my dad’s special trip. He and Rider relived and basked in special moments of the day and will savor them forever. My dad’s worries about the full moon were for naught, it seems, as it sounds like they were busy all morning and into the afternoon. Both were pooped. The fish dinner was fabulous, as was our trout breakfast–making the most of the bounty. Dad is already talking about his next trip with you.
