Oregon's midcoast rivers are finally coming into ideal drift-fishing levels.  After a lengthy wait for high waters to recede due to appreciable snow and rainfall, our coastal waters should be in excellent condition by mid week.

It's mixed bag time now as late November and early December can produce Chinook Salmon, Silver Salmon and even Winter Steelhead.

Winter Steelheading Winding Down - Focus Turns to Spring & Summer Fisheries

With warmer weather moving, our winter steelheading is drawing to a close.  While numerous systems are known to produce winter-run fish in late March and into April, the majority are finished for the season and most  coastal rivers close to winter-run fishing on March 31st.
